You're problem is that you're eating less than 1000 calories a day! Your putting your body into "starvation" mode. It will hold on to every calorie it can. If you're exercising, your body needs more fuel. If you're doing some form of cardio every day (aerobics, swimming, biking, anything like that), you should increase to 1,500 a day. Your body will release from its starvation mode and you'll see your weight go down steadily.

NO ONE should eat under 1000 calories daily. You can't possibly be eating a healthy, balenced diet if that's true.

1. Eating so little, your body would believe it's starving, and would hold on to all of it's fat stores it could.

2. Are you underweight already? You may just not have anything left to lose.

3. You may be fighting your biological tendancies.

Everyone has a body type that is genetically predetermined. Now, a person can be underweight, normal or overweight for their bodytype, but you can't fight nature. For example, have you seen the german and brazilian soccer teams play each other? You don't need to know the color of their jerseys. The Germans are huge compared to the Brazilians. This doesn't mean the Germans are overweight. All the men from both teams are in top physical condition. But the germans would have to be half-dead to weigh as little as their competitors, and the brazilians would have to be fat to weigh as much as the germans.

Know your body type. Don't compare yourself to someone with a different background than yourself. And don't compare yourself to anyone on tv. They arn't real people.

Besides, the feminine curves of breasts, a tummy, hips and thighs are coming back into fashion for the first time since the early 80s. There's no need to develop an eating disorder now.

Search online for a BMI calculator. See how you're doing. If you're overweight and can't lose it, see a doctor. Otherwise, go have a sandwich and relax a little.

Your problem is your calories. You need to eat more calories. Try to atleast a 1000-1200 a day. And try not to eat late in the evening, maybe around 7 or 8 pm. Drink lots and lots of water. That also helps to lose.

Let me start by saying -HOLY CRAP! 1000 cal is way to little. You know how drs say not to skip meals? It screws up ur metabolism adn you gain weight as a result. Add some calories in fruit and fish. Even if you eat a lot it can be healthy and that should do it.

What do you weigh and how tall are you? Are you male or female? How old are you? How much and what type of exercises are you doing? All of these things must be considered when determining your situation.

An important first step in any successful weight loss program is a visit to your doctor to review your goals and to help assess any problems. Then a practical plan can be prepared that you can successfully follow. Best of luck to you!

You don't say what your height is or your weight so it's hard to say, but if you're eating UNDER 1,000 calories and not losing it sounds as if your body has shut down and is in starvation mode. You'll never lose weight this way because your body thinks it needs to conserve what little calories you are consuming

What is wrong is you did not cut the amount of food you eat in half. Forget counting calories, and what's eating right? Just eat 1/2 of what you normally eat.

eating less then what your body needs will only cause it to go into starvation mode, meaning it will savor every little calorie it can.

What you need to do ir plan your diet by carbs, protiens, and vitimans. and also extensivley vary your exercise regime so that your body is constantly doing something different.
