I drink about 4 glasses of water. The next 4 cups are in my other drinks like soft drinks and punches.

Like some of the others said, everyone needs a diffrent amount of water intake a day. What the doctors suggest is 8 glasses of water at 8 ozs each, but many people dont have to have that amount. When you are thirsty during the day instead of grabbing a soda get a glass of water. Most bottles of water are 20 ozs or more and that is worth 2 1/2 glasses of water. You can also get some of it from sodas and punch but the carbonated water in sodas does not usually count as your water consumption for the day. If you are worried about it you can talk to your doctor about drink 8 glasses and it making you feel sick and see what they have to say. Your the one that has to decide how much water you can stand and if you drink too much you can fell sick or water logged. Hope this helps!!

I don't know if you mean 8 glasses or 8 litres, however everyones needs are different, but the important thing is not to drink less than 2 litres a day.
You might try to drink a little at a time instead of drinking a lot of water at once.

well, if you drink 8 glasses of water one after other, it sounds logical that you feel sick. You should drink 8 glasses of water daily. That shouldn't make you feel ill. If it does, start from 4 glasses and increase the number of glasses as the days pass.

Half your body weight in ounces. So if you weigh 100 lbs, 50 oz, or 6 1/4 glasses (1 glass is 8 oz.)
