Do you believe in shapeshifting, that is, the ability to assume the form or characteristics of an animal, either in real-life, in dreams, or in astral-travel form?
If so, do you know any methods to achieve that state and learning that skill?
I do meditation every now and then, and I've managed to astral travel once, but I've got too freaked out and woke up as soon as I managed to start travelling.
My dream, however, is to be able to experience a shapeshifting experience, merging with my "totem animal". The internet is full of testimonies of people that claim they do this regularly... but is it really possible? How to do it?

I'm not going to actually shapeshift into an animal...
I'm just wondering if anybody had any dream/extra-sensorial experience related to shapeshifting.

Shapeshifting is within the realm of our spiritual ability. However,
those who think they can control spiritual forces in the material
plane. Only bind themselves more to those forces.
Everyone travels in spirit when they sleep. Many of our dreams, not all, are things we experience on the astral. If you accept this, you will gain more control over the experience.

It is really possible. But it takes a lot of practice.
Ignore the drug comments, please.
It's hard to explain, but, there is a book called Shapeshifting ... they sell it at B&N or Borders... forget the author... but it's a very extensive, explanative book.
ESP is gained through meditation and of the such.
Astral travel can happen when you're near-death, or you mess up in meditation... you do it right, you can figure it out.
Don't freak out so much, though.

I have heard many stories of people who are able to do this, I am not sure it is something I would personally want to get involved in.
Astral travel.....there are books out there with techniques but they have never worked for me when I have purposely tried. It is something that happens involuntary on occasions.
I think each of us has some form of extrasensory perception but we do not always use it to the full.

how you do shape shifting is from being indwelt by evil spirit or spirits. The things you are speaking of are demonic in nature and the bible speaks against having anything to do with any type of witchcraft,divination,fortune telling, communing with the dead, practicing magical arts and etc....
Anyone who does these things are in rebellion against God and if they don't repent will be eternally separated from God(when they die) . Satan uses those magical arts to deceive, all it does is keep you focused on self elevation and locked in satanic arts and that hinders you from coming to know Jesus as your Savior.... get out while you can!
