Not now but I've tried hair mayonnaise and it works real good!

When I was about 13 I did it once. It was a bad idea. It's hard to get out and not worth the effort. I'm 37 now and just got it all out yesterday.

When I was little my mom would condition my hair with mayonaise sometimes. I don't think it made a difference either way. I don't do it anymore.

in the days of yore, yes. but so many far better commerical conditioners now, absolutely not. unless one is a child/teenager & folks won't or can't buy the store brands

in the days before mousse they used beer & rag rollers to make curls, yetch.

Because its made with egg yolk which is moisturizing while the vinegar is acidic (helps hair absorb the moisture).

We USUALLY use plain old conditioner,but occasionally some women do use mayo

I never used mayo but I heard you can. But it's messy so why would you want to. Mayo costs more than conditioner.

I don't, but maybe it's cuz of all the nutrients that keeps the hair healthy.
