i want to edit my home videos and put them onto dvds or just avi files on the computer. theyre all home vhs tapes..and im using ati all in wonder 7500 as my capture and using windows movie maker..latest ver. and i as wondering everytime i start capturing i change my settings and i notice this one option of color space/compression...and the choice i have are uyvy or yuy2. whats the diff between the two? what are they? which one is better? which one whould i pick? thanks for your help.

There really isn't much of a difference between the two. The only difference is the order in which each pixel is encoded.

UYVY tends to be the more popular format used by encoders though so I'd go with the herd. :)
