how can i get a credit card w/bad credit?

All the offers posted here (Orchard, Imagine, etc.) have an annual fee of $35-150 dollars. Above and beyond the balance i accumulate, I also have to pay that amount every year? Or is this a one time payment for joining? I'm scared to apply to these online cars, because of the possibilities of "hidden" additional charges.

You can definitely get a credit card even if you have bad credit. You should check out this site, it helped me out quite a bit. There are a couple of offers listed for unsecured cards up to a pretty decent credit limit...I can't remember what the limit was exactly.
With those offers, you might be able to get a cash advance too, if that's something you'd be interested in. Here's the site:

Use cash, it would be cheaper than those secured credit cards. There is a reason you have bad credit so no one good will issue you a card.

I disagree with the person that said "BofA Secured Card", I got turned down and don't have that bad of credit!
