Techinically it was a draw & and has not ended. At the time of the ceasefire in 1953, both sides had static lines along the 38th Parrallel. The shooting stopped, prisoners returned and the borders set as is. Why do you ask?

The Korean War never ended...it's still going on. What they did is sign a cease fire...but both sides are still popping shots on a daily basis. And a cease fire does NOT mean that they both agreed to stop fighting!

Currently under a cease fire, if Gen. Douglas MacAurthur had been allowed to bomb the bridges coming into NorKor from China as he requested, the UN forces mostly likely would've won....but that's just my opinion.
