The local market sells hair straightening solution similar to perm solutions - just opposite. It will dry out your hair since it's only been two months since you recieved your perm, but a good deep conditioner will help with that.

You can not remove a perm. See a beautician and see if she can condition and treat your new growth untill the perm grows out. Depending on what kind of perm it was mistreating the hair will cause breakage and damage. A perm is permanent to do a straight style or curl and it is in like luggage. It is a chemical.
It is only hair and it grows back and there are always wigs and hair extensions. I am black so It does matter with nappy hair WE NEED THE PERM AND THE HOT COMB Love the perm Like the perm Do Not Remove

Unfortunatly, after two months, there is no way to take out the perm. The only solutions really are getting it chemically straightened or blow drying it straight/use a straightening iron on it.
Chemically straightening your hair will ruin it especially since it's already been treated when you permed it.
My suggestion is to use a straightening iron with some really good conditioner and some anti-frizz serum. It won't be great for your hair either, but it won't fry it like the chemical straightening. Fortunatly, perms don't last forever, so you just have to wait about a year for it to relax on it's own!

Buy an over the counter perm lotion.
You will have a bottle of the lotion and a bottle of neutraliser.
Take the perm lotion, pour it onto your hair and comb it through.
Make sure you cover all your hair and keep combing for about 15-20 minutes.
Then wash it out...then do the same with the neutraliser...Comb this through for about 10 minutes.
This will leave your hair really straight and feeling quite dry.
So put a conditioning treatment on it afterwards.
I had to do this myself years ago after a dodgy perm.
A hairdresser told me to do it after I was quoted £100 for a salon to do the same thing.
The perm lotion cost me a fiver!
AND it worked!

Buy a box of perm solution. Apply solution and leave in hair keeping as straight as possible. Then wash. Towel Dy. Blow dry. Flat iron straight. Then apply neutralizer. Rinse in cool water. Your hair should be straight again. Only use this method if you do not have multi-chemically processed hair (like color or bleach, with perm).

I had the same experience and I feel your pain. If you try to process it again it will be too many harsh chemicals and only make matters worse. Unfortunately the only thing you can do it to keep having it trimmed until it is all gone. It will continue to relax on it's own as time goes by but baby you're stuck. Use hot rollers to make long flowing curls if u have long hair. If you have short hair u should be rid of it in a couple more months.

I did the same thing and got a perm to make my hair straight and now i regret it but my hair salonist told me that I just have to let it grow out. She said that it would take it 2 years to grow out to the ends and it will be my first year in December and its half way grown out.But i also think it depends on the length of your hair. But what I also did was get my hair braided with fake hair and it grew out a lot.So I just have to be patient and wait unfortunately.

Get a really good conditioning treatment (if your in the uk go to boyes or body care and get a tub of henna wax for 99p its brill) and put it on your hair, wrap your scalp in a plastic bag then a towel to keep it warm. leave this on for 20mins, comb it through then wash off. if you do this frequently this should loosen the curl but any further chemical treatment like a straightening solution will damage you hair. get a thermo protection spray and use ceramic straighteners. sorry honey but this is probably your best bet.

You could have it straightened, but it's gonna ruin your hair! Or Permed again but with less curl? I've also heard that some anti-dandruff shampoos can reduce the curl, but not by much.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods. Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful. Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged. A review of the various hair removal methods is available at http://tinyurl.com/ob6tt
