Black coffee shouldn't contribute at all to weight gain. It's my understanding that it can boost your metabolism a little bit, so if anything it may help you lose weight. Of course, caffeine is a drug so you shouldn't use it to excess.

Not really. It will make you more nervous and hyperactive. Also you'll act very angry all the time even in your 5 senses. That use to happen to me before.

black coffee does not have many calories, i find that it supresses my appetite. but sugar and other additives that people put in their coffee can add up and make you fat
