I know that this falls into the mental health area, but I would like to focus mainly on the substance abuse field. Do a "internship" with them ..Before you have your license.. Talk to your instructors. There are mental health facilities that are in patient and will give you a much wider array of treatment options that the out patient ones and they are totally different in their way of treating things too and the problems they see. So talk to you r isntructors
