You know in Switzerland "The Land of Cheese" the cheese is left for a long time, from 3 months till 8 months and more, they like it that way. I guess it wouldn't hurt, I think it turned to Blue Cheese.

I have been to Catering college and they said that cheese was alright to eat 7 days after the "best before date"

I don't know who you are, but I think you'd betterdiscard the cheese before you really get sick!Then again, some people eat it after cutting
off the mold.

ok the green stuff growing on your cheese is mold and it's gross you shouldn't eat it just buy new cheese seriously!

It's mold. Throw it away. Heat and moisture with dairy products do not make a good mixture of any kind.
