yes here r some tips from a 10th grader soon to be.

tips:
1) don't tell on anybody, you'll get ur a$$ kicked.
2) make friends with the cool people
3) wear stylish clothes
4) never snort like a pig
5) fail every class then bring em all up at the end of the year, everybody will be like, WOW! i thot u were dumb, and ull be more popular.
6) join a sports team... football... soccer... baseball... or cross country.
7) don't be a know-it-all people will bug ya forever
8) always get an A or B on PE, people will know that ur fit.
9) don't hang with the people who smoke, do drugs, or have sex, your life will be screwed if u hung with them.
10) don't get a gf/bf until u know the person for at least 2 months.
11) if u break up with sumone, and u want to date again... wait about a month or 2 otherwise pple will think that ur a player or a slut.
12) don't pretend your black or hispanic unless u really are black or hispanic.
13) if ur white get ready to defend yourself
14) if u look white but ur hispanic do the same as tip 13.
15) if u get instruments choose to play the cello
16) if none of these tips work, then good luck.

Same with me. Be confident - confidence is key to having a great freshmen year. Sit next to somebody new, join a club or sport, and don't be afraid to try new things. And remember - lots of kids make it through their freshmen year with the same worries and concerns, so you aren't alone! If your school has an orientation, make sure to go so you are even more at ease with where your classes are. Don't be nervous to ask questions, either - do anything you have to in order to make sure that you are comfortable for the first day of school. Good luck and enjoy your school year!

Do your best in your classes if you want to go to college and remember that most of what happens in high school really doesn't matter in the long run. In ten years, no one will care if you were the prom queen or how popular you were.

i just started 3 days ago. it wasnt bad at all. no body is really mean to u. i thought itd be boring and get lost. it was fun and if i didnt no wwear i was going id ask a teacher.yull be just fine the first day cause i asked a million questions like this too.
