So what's your "issue?" Seems to me that you've already made up your mind about the question of "blackened lung." Hell, you're young, smoke those cancer sticks 'til you're "blue in the face," and gasping for air... THEN, you get to carry around an oxygen tank(!), 'til things worsen enough to put you on a respirator... Good Fun!
It's okay, the arrogance of youth has infected my son as well, he "knows better," but continues to smoke anyway... the monkey on his back and he are "old friends" and it's hard to give up an bad habit when it gives you immediate "pleasure..." ah the sweet lift ones gets from that anticipated "drag on the fag."
I also think there is a 'camaraderie' amongst smokers as though they're "big bad-***" rebels... and some fu@k!n' social pressure ain't gonna make them change!

What the hell is your question? I don't really care if you are stupid enough to keep smoking. So you go ahead and have a nice day, in fact have a nice few years before the hacking cough and phlem set in. I hope you are attractive now, you sure won't be in a few years.

Do you have LOTS of insurance? You're going to need it. Chemo treatments and Oxycontin are very expensive.
Do you have your funeral arrangements made? I would do that too, if I were you. Save your family a lot of grief-- plan ahead.
