I tried, and I couldn't make it work. The only thing we had together was great sex! Besides that we had nothing. We couldn't talk about anything....we tried by could never find conversation. We couldn't ever just hang out without getting upset with each other because of dumb stuff. It just didn't work for me! The sex was the best of the bestest ever, but other than that it just Ewwww!

Technicaly Yes, There are different types of relationships and they all related to passion, comintment, and Intimacy.
(Triangular theory of love). So you could have a relationship that just had passion and no chemistry.

Like for example,
A Friendship is more of Intimacy.
Foolish love is passion and commitment
A Romantic Love is more Intimacy and Passion.
A Consummate Love is Passion, Comintment, and Intimacy (which is the hardest to get to).
and it goes on to others like a obssesive love, etc.

You can MAKE it work, but that's pretty much what you'd be doing...forcing something that isn't really a good fit...it's also known as "settling"

Lack of chemistry is a deal breaker for me...I've met wonderful guys that had what seemed to be everything going for them, and thought to myself "why can't I dig this guy"? Good looking, good personality, financially comfortable, etc....

...but...no chemistry...no spark...no deal... *sigh*

That's usually a sign that you shouldn't be together. You will know when you are in love and when your not, but the most important thing to remember is to always make yourself happy first!
