Drug-thugs involve themselves with anyone and everyone.

Maybe because this country minds every other country's business all the time. thats why other countries feel the USA owes them.

Did they flee legally? We offer asylum. Many countries offer asylum. America has the largest amount of illegal immigrants of any nation. I'm not saying that illegals don't pay taxes or spend in the market place to help the economy...... I'm saying that sending over 12 million (est. 2000) people back to their respective mother countries is taxing my pocket book having to pay for the authorities that pick them up, try them, and deport them. All the paperwork that has to be done against them is more than the paperwork for them to come here legally! I'm sorry for their plight, but I get harrassed by druggies too. America isn't all that better off (and won't be for too much longer if we allow the world to pick and choose which laws to obey).
Fun Fact: According to the 2000 census, Latin American immigrants had the lowest income and highest rate of high school drop outs compared to other immigrant nationalities and natural born citizens.

Our government would have to determine if it rose to the level of asylum or Temporary Protected Status. We have procedures for real emergencies. If someone doesn't follow them, I assume they are not in such dire straights, and should come legally or not at all.
How did they even get involved with drug thugs? It is a way of life there, and is starting to be in Mexico. I think we should give asylum to deserving cases, but I sure don't want to bring that problem here.

If they come here and apply for amnesty legally, then I have absolutely no problem.
It seems funny to me that we have drugs in our country, and yet we succeed in fighting it down and keeping it from taking over our country. There are more people in their country than drug lords. Why not fight? Yeah - some will die, but I bet the drug lord is one of the dead ones in the end.

Our INS laws allow visas for people who can prove they are fleeing political persecution. THey can come, apply, and get a court hearing for their case.
Americans will accept anyone who is here legally. Got it?

with due processing for status, we are not the hide away for other countries, they( the other countries governments), need to take responsibility for their country, If we can do it to a degree that others want to come here, why cant they

Anyone who is under death threat in their country can apply for asylum, or refugee status ... different application procedure, but paperwork all the same ... if asylum is granted, the person will be here legally .... and if legal, welcome ... :)
