Pro-life, of course. It is the only position with a leg to stand on.

I prefer to call them "Pro Birth" because it's not always a quality of 'life' that they're after. Their main objective is to bring every pregnancy to term, no matter what the circumstances are. No matter if that baby has a condition that will make it die at birth or not, there are some out there who want that baby to be born. Forget about the woman! It's not up to her. They will go to great lengths to convince women that they're murderers, show them horrible photos (that aren't typically from abortions) and do anything, including killing doctors, to stop abortion. Sounds pretty hypocritical to me.
I understand why people are 'against' abortion. It's an ugly thing. Nobody likes it, nobody WANTS it and it's the very rare oddball that would use it for a form of birth control. It's a necessary evil.
I wish we could all reach a happy medium on this topic, but we won't.
If it were up to me, women would be required to terminate an unwanted pregnancy before the second trimester. I would initiate a law stating that the RU486 pill would be the main form of terminating a pregnancy. That pill causes miscarriage and must be used before the 10th week of pregnancy, while the embryo is still so small, with no working nervous system, to pass without surgical intervention. There are no broken limbs that the pro birth people go on and on about. Of course, if it were up to me, I would have pages and pages of rules and regulations....
Just a little thought....

I know i am for many reasons.. but i have to say that the 2 girls i have known who had abortions have had LOTS of girly medical problems since then.... it is hard not to get into moral or religious answers with these problems but i really wonder who we think we are to do that to a human ( and if you don't see "it" as a human... who are we to abort a potential wonderful life? i sometimes think we have become so selfish and have no respect for our own lives or those of others that it seems to tie in with all the murders and rapes and other terrors we do to others in this world... anyway.. it was just a thought... but yes ... there are a lot of pro life people out there... and a lot of them don't know where to stand until they are presented with the fact... somepeople are pro choice b/c they believe in a freedom... but fail to believe in humanity.... we were all given free will ... but it is our responsibility to learn so that we use our free will correctly

I am defiantly pro-choice. but i had to go through this before when i was 18. I thought about all the pros and cons. I would never give up my baby for adoption( i have had an adopted sister and she was not treated good) My family would have put me in the street and i would not be able to get a good job and i had no one to help me. I probably would have been homeless and the father was no where. I cried every night before i gave up my baby. But I think that was the best thing. The baby didn't even have a heart beat yet when i had the abortion. I think circumstances as such as this would be appropriate. As long as its not use for birthcontrol and selfishness. Trust me I would never have one again.

i have always stood the ground that if its something you want to do than go ahead. personally i never would. look at me, im 24 and have 4 kids. when i found out i was pregnant for the 4th time we actually did consider having an abortion or adoption. i had even gone as far as making an appointment to have it done. and it was eating me up inside to know that someone was going to rip an unborn child out of me. God intends for you to recreate, and it may not always be what you want at the time, but how can stop something like that from happening. we decided that we were going to have the her and now she is 2 yrs old and i think about it quite often actually that there was a chance we werent going to have her, like she is disposable or something. and i also think about how it wouldve been if we hadnt made that decision, looking at the others everyday knowing that we thought it wouldve been that much harderto have another. but thats enough....i love my kids and i never advise anyone to have an abortion there is plenty of help out there for everyone .

I am a mother of 2 great children. But as for aborthion I don't believe I would ever have one. I will not put someone down for it. The only time I would agree with one is for these reasons.
If a woman was raped and got pregnant I could see doing it. And if the mom's life was in great danger like continuing with the pregnancy would kill her than by all means other than that I couldnot agree with it.

I think abortion hurts women (emotionally). I work at a hospital and do birth certificates, one of the questions we ask mothers is if she has had any abortions. For those women who have they always answer the question in a depressed tone or get highly offended. No women that I have ever encountered has ever acted proud of her abortion.

Where do u stand? Killing a living thing is just wrong. If people have abortion's, I am sure they wonder everyday WHAT IF? Once you are pregnant, that baby is a living thing. That is just like going out and standing someone at gun point, and shooting them. That is just WRONG!!!

Pro choice all the way. I'm a mother with one on the way and I can honestly say if I get pregnant again and I know I can't support it than I will terminate the pregnancy because it is MY body and MY choice and their is nothing anyone can do about it. My fiance agrees with me. I have seen all the videos and pictures and they have not swayed me from pro choice yet and I believe anyone who trys to force people to look at those things or put them down calling them murderers should be tied up and made to feel just as bad about things they have done. I will not stand for people being cruel to others and trying to force their OPININIONS (not facts) on others.
