What would you do if some one raped or sexually molested you 7 to 5 yrs ago? ???

I am not saying that I was. I just wanted to know what you would do. I am just curious. um yah.

I was molested when I was quite young, around 4-5 yrs old. He was the babysitters son and had gone through alot of my friends as well as family members. (We all lived in a small community and went to the same church.) Years later when we all understood what it was we went and told my mother. I didn't have really any recollection of it, but my cousin did. Nothing really had happened to me that I can remember, plus we moved away, but my cousin remembered quite vivadly. My mother confronted the babysitter about her son, but by that time he had already moved out and was gone living his own life. As far as how life has gone on for all of us that it effected, well, we have all done well and moved on. What I wish would have happened is that the boy would have been put into a juvenile detention center to deal with his issues. I thank God that I have no memory of it, but feel bad that the others do. If something happened tell. As bad as you may feel about it, how much worse would you feel if years later that person touched your daugheter or friends daughter? People who do those kinds of things don't just try it once and then say, "Yeah, it really did nothing for me, I don't want to do it again." It takes a sick person to act upon their thoughts, so that very sick person would do it again given the right situation. They need therapy to confront their problem, letting them go to do more harm or to try and self solve their problems won't help. It is a serious problem that need serious attention. You will never be blamed for their wrong doing, if ever you are it is his or her family that doesn't want to deal with the reality of the situation. Just be confident, you are helping yourself and a world full of people. Good luck.

If that happened to me then my life would not be normal. You would have dreams about it and when you meet some one like the guy who did that to me then I would be scared when I seethat guy. My whole body would hurt when someone who you don't like touches you.Then you would feel like you where bad and that you would not have any one who would like you because of that. But that is not true Someone out there would care and help you out and try to bring you out of the problem you had when you where small. Also you could always talk to your parents about it. but if you don't want to talk to your parents about it then you could talk to a friend or some one who you trust. You should not feel bad. It wasn't you r idea of that. It was the person who did it to you .

i was molested once by a stranger when i was 8, no penetration. i didn't know what he was doing, so i didn't call for help or get help from the cops. i regret that i didn't, cuz who knows what that sick man's done by now. i remember what he was wearing, but i have no clue what he looks like. there are probably emotional scars somewhere but i don't think about it anymore.
