Have you talked about your families? what your mom's like and stuff?
have you talked about stuff you did as a child,
which country you'd like to visit
what you want to do when you leave school
what you wish you were good at
Ask him questions........ Find out something he likes talking about whether it's football or whatever, and ask lots of questions about that too.
Go and see movies and talk about the characters & what you thought of the movie.

I'm 14 too, but sadly without a boyfriend! How long have you guys been together. Do you consider yourself the quiet type of person? If so, maybe you should go on a date that involves more activities than just going somewhere to talk, like maybe going to a park and playing frisbee, seeing a movie you are both interested in, playing mini golf, etc. This way, you can hopefully talk about what you are doing at that exact moment, or you will think of something while you are doing these activities. If you are the social type, maybe you should just be friends with the guy, or pretend he's just a friend so maybe you'll be more comfortable. Good luck!

Then the question should be "why am I with him?". You guys are too young to have nothing to talk about. Can you talk about mutual teachers/classes?? What else do you have going on in your life that you can talk about?? There has to be more to you than just having a boyfriend......

If you are boyfriend / girlfriend, you have to have something in common. Those are some of the things you talk about. Is he into sports? If so, learn about that sport so you can talk to him about it. Or better yet, ask him questions about it (even if you know the answer). A guy likes to "explain things", so let him. Tell him things you are interested in, so he can do the same.

If you have nothing to talk about then do other things that dont envolve much talking like. Go to the movies and watch movies together, then maybe after you can talk about if you liked the movie or not. Go bike riding together or rollerblading. Listen to music. Watch funny shows on tv.

sweetie,you are to young to have a boyfriend!but i guess you can start by being spontanaeous.joke around with him and act goofy,make him laugh. i think thats better than talking!that gets boring sometimes

then you guys are not vibing, no common interests to talk about...just say i think its best that we just stay friends...guys are young at this age, so many do not know what it means to have a girlfriend....talk to him first about having the lack of communication and if he doesn't care, just dump him!!...good luck
