If a couple has been together for more than a year is it ok for one partner to be active in a personals add, even if they say on there just searching for friends. But there is a catch saying they live alone and targeting a certain age group. I dont agree how about you. What would you do.

Obviously this person is keeping there options very much open. And thats the only reason.
why search for "friends" when u can meet them on the street?! Nothing else to say here. I think the ads are used so they can carry on "relationships" with discretion. If its harmless do they include their significant other in their friend making quest?

With the advent of the internet and sites like Craiglist and Gumtree, this kind of thing seems to be happening more and more these days. It happened to me and I was NOT happy. Dont get me wrong, I dont mind porn but personal ads imply a certain level of involvement and engagement with the person on the other end. That "friends" excuse is b.u.l.l.s.h.i.t as I belive there are other ways of meeting friends that dont involve personal ads. It's a tough one and I really dont know what the best solution is. I confronted my partner about it but I suspect he just cleared his main computer and put everything on his laptop to which I dont have access. Sorry I cant give you an easy solution, hope someone else can
