..the first time it saw a rain shower?!

HAHAHAHA!! Buzz, our 14-wk. old kitten, seems completely intrigued by this! He's trying so hard to beat up the raindrops through the screen door.

Oh I miss those days when my kitties were little tiny things and started to explore the world and when they used to do all kinds of crazy stuff, like trying to get the thread off my hands when I used to cross stitch, when I got in the bath tub and they walked along the bathtub and fell in the water! oh men they used to be so curious and so cute, 5 years later I cannot get them out of the couch!!

My two kittens ran from the back door to the front door, up on the window perch. They didn't know what the heck to make of it and had to check all the places to believe that the rain was coming down everywhere!

I used to live in this old house with a bath tub with a shower and had a inner shower curtain and an outer cover(gift from my mother)My cats Zane and Scooter would be fascinated by the water hitting the curtain so they would climb in between the inner and outer shower curtain. One day as I was taking a shower Zane climbed in between the curtains and was doing his normal thing watching the water fall on the curtain.I didn't pay much attention the next thing I know he was in the shower scrambling to get out of the water.I don't know who was trying to get out faster him or me.After he got out I figured he slipped and fell in so I got back in to finish and Zane climbed back in between the curtains so I figured I would watch to see if he would fall in again and to my surprise I noticed a small area of the shower curtain just behind Zane jump out.So I looked on the outside of the curtain and their was scooter jumping at the curtain were it was moving, scooter was pushing his big brother in the shower. So every time I would take a shower I would watch to see if scooter would take revenge on his big brother

My mobile sun catcher has our cat's attention. Out of nowhere...ZOOM with his claws out , giving him traction to stop and start on the dime. Our other cat thinks grocery shopping is the greatest thing since the wheel, paper or plastic is the question! Both are as fun, one makes a louder noise. Before you get the groceries put away she is curled up and sleeping in the one on the floor...we'll leave that cat in the bag! Aren't they GREAT!

I don't know about my cat, but I can tell you about my dog. We like to sit on our covered porch to watch thunderstorms in our back yard. We had the back door open to let the breeze come in. Our dog was concerned. She knew it was raining and she didn't want to come out with us at first. She didn't know why we would want to be out in the rain. But then she decided it was okay. So she came out. But she couldn't comprehend that we were sitting under a roof not getting wet. But she had decided that since we were outside she might as well be, and she pranced around the yard in the pouring rain and thunder and lightning. We tried to get her to come to us but she thought it was a game. She was soaked when she finally came in!!!

mine haven't actually seen rain yet (desert summer), but we have a slightly leaky faucet, and they'll sit in the tub and watch each little drop fall so intently, it's a riot to watch. one of them tries to paw them every time. perfecting her timing skills.... she'll be a great hunter someday...

my other kitten is totally intrigued by forks and spoons. the other day we were having a impulsive snack at the kitchen table and he got up there and just started watching the fork move up and down, to the plate, to my mouth, and he ****** his head and you could just see his little brain going "why don't they just use their claws?"

my two house cats Ruby and Jemima make a "chirrup" noise when they see rain running down the windows, they try and catch the drops with their paws. Apparently it is quite common for Burmese to make those noises.

That sounds adorable! I wish I could see that. Our cats have never cared. I wonder why, seeing as other answers seem to be saying their cats do... yeah, besides biting down when their tongues are out so they walk around with their tonges sticking out, our cats don't do much exciting stuff. But I love them so much anyway...

i for my area do each and every little thing i am going to after I get a sparkling cat to tutor it to sleep with me. i like it. I used to have a cat that genuinely sleep less than the covers with me. Sorry, cats do not respond to alpha habit EVER (alpha = canines and people, the position one million man or woman/animal reaches the appropriate rung via being maximum dominant). They couldn't care a lot less in case you chase, hit, yell, in spite of. They do as they please. in case you won't be able to deal with that... do not get a cat. It only received't end properly. For both you or the cat. My cats stick with me everywhere in the abode. bathing room, mattress room, television, computing device... everywhere. would not hardship me in any respect. I genuinely have one which calls for to be held like a touch one after I bathe. After 5 years I nevertheless won't be able to destroy him of it. Cats were born to seek. each and every sport is a sport of prey and predator to them. there is not something you could do to regulate that. What you should do in case you opt for kitty to completely SLEEP once you sleep is workout them not user-friendly (ie play with them) only earlier mattress. Tucker kitty out, he will learn a thanks to sleep on your time table. instead of his nature, it truly is up all nighttime, sleep all day.
