Yes, actually.... it's kind of exciting!
When I was a kid we took lots of car vacations, and whenever we went over a bridge, my parents would be really excited and holler out, "There's the Mississippi River !!!!" .... or whatever River it was...LOL. Quite often, we would also be crossing from one state to another at those times.... and they would say, "OK, you've been in 18 states now !!" (Or whatever number we were up to at that point).
Gotta show excitement about things to instill that kind of pleasure in kids. What great parents they were!
