Bad idea.
And, yes, it could show up in drug tests... see link below for that.

Anyone CAN take weight loss tablets. The question should be SHOULD you take them. It is legal to prescribe weight loss drugs to minors only in severe cases of obesity, and only with parents' consent.

Any tablets used for weight loss is not good. think rationally if they block something that means they are hampering your body's natural way of working! the best way to lose weight still is eating balanced foods, avoid fried foods, exercise and try to use up energy in various activities. the natural way of losing weight is the best way 'cos although lots of people have lost weight by taking pills no one really knows the long term effects of these meds. Like how would it affect you in another 30-35 years.
Ephedra and the variations of epfedra is still banned in the US

This is dangerous and not recommended. The ephedrine is the similar to ephedra that was used in Metabolife. It increases your metabolism and can help lose weight but at the same time causes sudden death via heart attack or stroke in otherwise healthy people. This medicine is useful in limited amounts for treating congestion and colds. It's also used in the creation of methamphetimine. The illegal dangerous derivative version of this drug.
Do not do this, you may very well die because if it. It's not worth it.

anytime you take a drug test they should ask you if you are taking any meds. just tell them. i'am currently taking them under a dr. supervision. i have lost 25lds in 4 mos. but while taking them you have to teach yourself how to eat right or you will gain the weight back after you stop taking the pills. i no because i did it once before years ago. this time iam learning to eat right and the doctor will slowly cut down the pills until i no loner take them. with luck i will keep the weight off.

Tell your friend to stop immediately. If your friend doesn't have asthma, then she should not be taking Primatene tablets. She is at risk for damaging her heart.
