Why is it that when someone generalizes about Christians (such as saying all Christians brainwash people or we hate Muslims, for example) that is ok, but if someone calls someone of another race a name that isn't ok? Aren't they both wrong? Not all Christians are knocking on doors trying to convert people or looking at other people in judgement or telling you that you will burn in hell for having an abortion. This Christian girl sure isn't. So why be bigots and say that all Christians act like that? I'm sure you would love it if I said all black people are in prison. It's racists and I'm sick of people on this thing saying crap like that. It isn't true. So what makes it ok?

like i said a second ago, if something is being attacked by a majority, i tend to believe it even more. remember, the devil is very real and very here.

Who said it's okay? Aren't you just as bad for assuming that everyone thinks picking on Christians is okay?

I've read alot of the religion/spirituality questions and the Christians are usually in the majority of acting like judgemental, narrow minded people.

It's sad but true. They do NOTHING for the smart Christians who don't believe in ramming their beliefs down everyone elses throats

P.S. Insulting someones religion is NOT the same as insulting someones race. You choose your religion, you don't get to choose your race.

This is the nature of things. Many on both sides commit the same crimes. Have you noticed most of the arguing is over who is the bigger bigot? lol. Nothing makes it ok but sadly people only see things from thier own perspective. I am called closed minded because I am a Christian. I think an atheist is closed mined because he only believes what he can see and prove. Matter of perspective. What we have to remember is truth is not simply a matter of perspective. Truth is truth. If you are in the right, who can take you down? If God if for you, who can be against you? And for the other side of the coin, if there is no God than who cares if people spend time in church? Jerks and fools on BOTH sides. However, there are also wonderful and loving people on BOTH sides also.

No attack of any general group is okay.

The only thing that people have a problem with are some of the tenets of the Christian faith (counterintuitive and appear to be immoral) as well as the many Christians who appear hypocritical.

This is the type of question that just makes my eyes glaze over. I get so tired of hearing Christian complain about how they suffer from intolerance. Meanwhile, they seem to have no problem dishing it out to homosexuals, atheist or anyone else that doesn't kowtow to their every whim.

I mean really! Get off the cross!

Honey, just roll with the punches. I wear their persecution as a badge of honor.

I don't really pay them much attention other than to amuse myself at their expense ocasssionally.

Even Christians are allowed some enjoyment.

You are correct.

It is unfair to generalize any group.

There are 3+ billion christians. Since when has christianity been the minority?

I think christians deserve the ire of others. however the more fuel you add to the fire the more they feel like they are in the right. sometimes ignoring the attention seekers is best.

There is no bigotry towards Christians. Nobody is generalizing. It is the Christians who keep crying about presecution when they can't get their way. People like you are self-conscious.
