The guy i like is getting over someone, i know he really likes me, but i'm scared that if i flirt with him while he's getting over her he will stop liking me. I've considered backing off but i don't want him to think i no longer like him. I don't know how long it will take him to get over her, and in that time his feelings for me could completely change. However i do respect him totally for not wanting another relationship while he's not over his last.
please help me decide what to do.. thanks

I would chill. Keep being having the friendship you currently have with him. Mad luv for him that he realizes he shouldnt get into another relationship since he is not over his ex..which is good for you bc u dont want to be the fresh rebound. You never really know how long it takes for someone to get over someone, bc it depends on what the relationship was like to begin with.

(good/lasting)Relationships are said to have been developed from good/wonderful friendships. If youve flirted before dont stop, he could see that as you backing away which you said you dont want to do that bc he may think you dont like him any longer. so like i said chill, continue with the friendship like it is. If & when he's ready if you are the one he wants to move on with he'll let you know:) best of luck to you

Well this is a hard one. This sounds like something I read in "His just not that into you" in that book it told me anyone is ready to start a relationship even after a serious one. It's just that if he isn't ready....he may not be that interested in you. If you haven't read that book, I totally recommend it. I've read it a few times and it's great. It's things I knew but just didn't dawn on me that, that is what it was.

So this is what I think. Ask him if he would like to hang out with you and if he says No even to a casual outting with you. I would probally move on. And if he is just still trying to get over his last relationship then he will have to come to you when he is ready. But remember this could be a nice way of saying i'm not interested. So just try to read his signals.

You should wait untill he gets the feeling over the other girl. He will still like you the way you are. He will get over her and go to you. So you have to wait for the time.

I would make him aware of your feelings and let him know that he can let you know when he is ready for another relationship. That way you are honest without trying to smother him. Good Luck:)

I dont see your options. The most you can do is let him know you are there for him if he needs to talk or whatever.
