No, he will only ask you a couple of questions. depending on your age and health history will determine which one is for you.

It all depends on the contraception you want, your age, risk factors that are age related, genetics related etc....
Blood Pressure and Heart are always big concerns when it comes to the Pill. Most of the time when it is a "young" person, there is no need for any tests. There would be a blood test to get your hormone and other levels if you are taking any other kind of prescription drug. Make sure you let the Doctor know everything... You'll probably only just need a "consultation"...if you smoke, the Doctor will discourage the pill and opt for a different form of contraception.
Good Luck!

I'm pretty sure that through Planned Parenthood you can get perscribed birth control without receiving any tests but will need to get one within three months. I know that I went through my family doctor and had to have a pap smear before they would perscribe me the pills. A pap smear is basibally a doctor entering you v aginally and scraping the lining of your uterus. It's not the most comfortable of procedures that the doctor does but it is for your good. Plus, if you are wanting to get on the pill that probably means you are sexually active and should have this check annually as it is. I know the test doesn't sound fun, but I promise it's worth it, especially to get on the pill. Being on the pill regulates your periods, lessens cramping and has made mine shorter, which has been great, and I know you'll enjoy that too. Best of luck.

You have to get a Pap smear ... maybe even a physical ... depending on your Doctor ... I would ask for an STD test too (if you're already having sex) if not don't worry ... that way you get everything taken care of at once ... !

My doctor also does a breast exam for lumps and what not ... he'll probably check your blood pressure ... and do all your normal check ups ... !

I've been reading some of these answers and they're crazy ... I wouldn't just go down to some clinic and take a bunch of pills ... from total strangers ... why not do it the right way and get checked out first by a real doctor .. he'll ask you questions and depending on your answers and out come of his tests .. he'll choose the appropriate pill for you and your body ... if it doesn't work out or you're uncomfortable ... he'll find you one that will work ... !

If you're close to your mom ... ask her to take you ... but I know some girls that hate that thought ... but truly deep down I would want to take my daughter ... just so I know she's doing everything she can possibly do to take care of herself ... the correct way ... !

Unless you have some sort of pre-existing medical condition that could interfere with the pill, then I don't think that there are any tests at all. You just go to the doc and he prescribes the pill he thinks would suit you best. Sometimes you have to try different ones to find the right strength for your body, but that's about it.

no tests will be done....he just need to know a lil about your health history then he'll prescribe one for you...but keep in mind that most birth control pills will cause you to gain weight, even though it helps people with acne.

No all you do is go to your family planning clinic or health unit or even your doctors and he or she will probably ask you some questions and if you are old enough you won't need your parent(s) with you but its just that simple. No test required.

nope, they don't do anything. They check you urine, only to see if your low on iron. they just tell you then that you need to take an iron pill usually its not from the birth control. Birth Control is great.

He will do an exam down south and check your breast for lumps. Some ob/gyn's will check your anus but most wont. Its pretty much that simple. You willl have to fill out lots of paperwork on your personal history. Its over in about 10min.
