One of my girlfriends father was a Blackfoot. Met her mother, who worked on the reservation, and married her. A very interesting woman!

"What is life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset..."

-Blackfoot

So beautiful and true,.... for in Jam. 4:14 it is written.....Wheras ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appeareth a little time, and then vanisheth away...... Thank you for sharing this.

Very quaint and inspiring in a poetic way. I can see why you like it.Here's one for you to think about:

What do Indians dance into their dance?
"Neither the war nor the infant was sent to save us from our fate.Half of it was crushed to death by Saviors & blew away."
peace & love.........

It's nice...I like it.

Answers a lot of questions about the meaning of life, or at least reveals yet more questions.

Nice. I fell wiser for hearing. What she is saying is that she does not know, so she is giving examples to put it into words.

Sounds like a load to me. Buffalo breath? Come on.

It's like this:

Birth. School. Work. Death.

And there you have it.
