...i do not need proof either. I just happened on a few other strings that kept questioning God's existence. This was part of my answer:
I'm a roman catholic whose faith is teetering on the edge. I would like to be similar to a person of faith (who'd tell you to look around and see life, and the miracles that abound),
but, I value my own rationality at the same time. Part of me is tempted to ask the same question, but at the same time (and more so), i say to myself,
"I really don't need proof whether or not God exists."
I like knowing that I live in a world where God exists.

Cpt. Atheism. I'm not dismissing your perspective. Not by far.
But if you so believe that what you stand for is true and that a lot of us are hobbled with our beliefs...then what could you be doing that is more important than making a good enough stand about your claim?
I'm not trying to say someone is right or wrong here...just interested in the people with valid, rational platforms.

It's so blatantly obvious to the atheist, but not to those still wrapped up in religious cults... that there is no God. And unfortunately, cults like Christianity and Islam are extremely detrimental to society, and flat out dangerous. So even though the rational people are not fooled, we have to come out here and explain, step by step, why your god is fake, because you won't do the research yourself.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings, but somebody's got to wake you people up, for the safety of us all. And believe me, there are much better things we'd rather be doing...

I don't think there is a need to disprove his existence, per say. It's the need to disprove the "know-it-alls" that say he exists because of some stupid book filled with mythology and legends, and then they act like they have "proof".
The truth is, no one has ever seen God so it is all speculation at this point.

Nobody is trying to disprove the existence of a god. All they are asking is that if you want people to follow your religion of you prove that there is a god.

Some people hate to think that there is some thing or some one up there that is more powerful than we are. We are supposed to be the supreme being and we don't like to think that someone has control over what we do, and what we say, and when we die. It will be our downfall. We are too proud, and too controlling.

Perhaps this is a response to the failure of any alleged supernatural agency, such as a deity, to successfully demonstrate its existence.

man has to disprove God because no one wants to be held accountable, it will only get worse as the end of days grow closer we are living in the final days before His return.
