at work we have soups everyday, and have to throw them out every day, is there a better way to dispose of them besides in a garbage can?

Garbage disposal in kitchen at work... unless it is bones and glass soup

Donate it to a homeless shelter. That's what all the places around here do.

You can freeze them and reuse them
or give them to some one poor who could use the food
