I don't have 1/2 t. garlic salt for a recipe. Can i combine regular salt and garlic powder, or use seasoned salt and add garlic powder? What to do??

you could just use garlic powder. I never use garlic salt in recipes.

Just use salt. I think powdered garlic is gross. I'm sure the recipe will be fine without garlic salt. Add some extra onion.

1/4 t. salt and 1/4 t. garlic powder would work.

Simply mix 1/4 t salt with 1/4 t garlic.

To be honest with you, 1/2 teaspoon, unless you are cooking a small portion for one, will not make much of a difference either way, so if you omit it all together, you won't ruin the dish.

Season with your salt and sprinkle in some garlic powder if you wish...or any spice you wish for that matter. Follow your tastebuds!
