women over 35- how do you get over a man that you loved but found out cheated on you?

It's just so sickening, when all you ever asked for is the truth, for a year, so you wouldn't be devastated? Things weren't bad for the whole year....but then maybe they were-he's such a liar, anyway.

I deal with it the same way I dealt with it when I was under 35. I pick myself up, dust myself off and move on. You will get through this and being that your older I would think you may get over it sooner than later. Be strong and you will be fine.

The only way that I have found to get over any loss is to wait it out. I know that it will take a long time sometimes, because of your attachment to this guy but, finally, the pain will go away.
When my husband died it took me at least four years to finally stop crying whenever I thought of him. I don't know if it will take that long or longer, because you had the extra burden of being betrayed. But, sooner or later, you will see that his loss was the best thing that could happen to you under the circumstances.

You end up putting too much trust and time in a relationship just to be burned.

I know this sounds lame, but time, eventually time does its trick on your memories and they aren't so clear or real anymore. Suddenly you wake up one morning and realize, its been days since you thought about him, then months and soon you have that wonderful feeling of no longer hating him, he's just another ex.

It's very hard to get over it. it takes time and more time. After a while it's more easy to forgive than to for get you will never for give or forget it's very hard someone cheated on me and I will never forget it
