So if you buy into the supernatural spooky bible, do you also believe in hobgoblins, witches? Maybe unicorns and leprechauns?
Or do you just choose which made up things to believe in and which not to believe in? C'mon you gotta know it's a bunch of crap.

the bible isn't true to me

Yes, I believe that the Bible is basically true... There are parts I don't understand, there are parts where its speaking symbolically, and there are parts that can be interpreted in many ways, but its basically true.

Do I believe in hobgoblins, unicorns or leprechauns.. NO... What about Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, or demonic possessions, NO.

When I was young my teachers told us that the universe always existed. The Bible said it was created... My teacher told me that was wrong. The Big Bang theory started from a Catholic priest named Georges LeMatre. Today his theory is what is called science.

Seems there was another Catholic priest named Mendel who started the science of genetics. A Polish man named Copernicus was also a Catholic priest. There is no problem between science and religion.

Today we understand science to say that there are places where time and matter don't make sense... black holes. Today science tells us that the entire human race was almost extinct and we all originated from a mitochondrial Eve about 150,000 years ago. Today scientists are studying near-death experiences, and they're studying the quantum functions of the brain which may lead us to an understand of an energy our minds generate that can exist outside our physical bodies... pretty weird huh?

Bro !! the bible is the most trust worthy in mankind's history. First of all it doesnt mention none of that you said (hobgobiins, witches, unicorns, leprechauns). Second the bible have history back up from many sources (non biblical) and those confirm facts of the bible.

Every city that the bible mention existed confirmed by history.

I can give you some more facts but there are too many, let me know if you're interested in study about how the bible came to us.

The Bible is a valuable book given to us to use throughout our lifetime. Where would we be without the 10 commandments? How would we know how to be saved from eternal damnation? I don't believe in "hobgoblins, witches, maybe unicorns and leprechauns", but I do believe in a loving God who has a plan for YOUR life!

IT never ceases to amaze me how people who have never read or studied the bible judges it so freely. The best thing I can advise you is to study it and find your own interpretation. I know you have not read the bible b/c it says nothing of the sort of leprechauns, unicorns and so forth. LOL. OMG. The bible is one of the most logical books ever written. Especially the old testament. It is mostly about genealogies and how GOD revealed himself to his people. And how he delivered them. THE bible is about having a true relationship with GOD. It is not about religion. Other religions like Islam, Buddhism, Scientology, is really fictional. I have studied these religions and therefore I can make that type of opinion, plus I have experienced GOD and his goodness and the goodness of JESUS CHRIST, and I know he is real. I used to not believe. But I know now. Read the new testament especially books like Revelation. The prophecies in it are happening right now. The bible talks about Israel, Syria, Iraq and so much more. You would be shocked. The first book of the bible which is Genesis was written over 6000 years ago. But the bible is the most acurate book ever written. The stuff prophesied in the bible is happening as we speak. READ IT FOR YOURSELF!

Judaism has as its holy book the Hebraic Bible. This differs from the Old Testament of the Christians in that the latter have included several books which did not exist in Hebrew. In practice, this divergence hardly makes any difference to the doctrine. Judaism does not however admit any revelation subsequent to its own.
Christianity has taken the Hebraic Bible for itself and added a few supplements to it. It has not however accepted all the published writings destined to make known to men the Mission of Jesus. The Church has made incisive cuts in the profusion of books relating the life and teachings of Jesus. It has only preserved a limited number of writings in the New Testament, the most important of which are the four Canonic Gospels. Christianity takes no account of any revelation subsequent to Jesus and his Apostles. It therefore rules out the Quran.
The Quranic Revelation appeared six centuries after Jesus. It resumes numerous data found in the Hebraic Bible and the Gospels since it quotes very frequently from the 'Torah. SEE FARTHER MORE........http://www.islam-guide.com/bqs/

Hi, I have to tell you, like many people I've been thru some serious s*** in my life, all 54 years of it, (yeah ancient, I know). I'm intelligent, educated and also quite cynical in some respects. I genuinely believe with all my heart that the Bible is true.

You may not believe this, but I sincerely don't believe it is crap.
