That's the question isn't it? I wonder how some people don't know what love really is or what it can or could be. . .
Here are a few things I am learning from the book "The Five Love Languages"
1. Words of Affirmation
2. Quality Time
3. Receiving Gifts
4. Acts of Services
5. Physical Touch
"The object of love is not getting something you want but doing something for the well being of the one you love. "
"An anxious heart weighs a man down, but a kind word cheers him up"
Love is the attitude that says: I'm married to you and choose to look out for your interest."
"Material things are no replacement for human, emotional love."
"At the heart of man kinds existence is the desire to be intimate and to be loved by another... That did not mean that individuals would lose their identity; it meant that they would enter each others lives in a deep and intimate way."
"Love is kind"
"The manner in which we speak is exceedingly important"
"Love doesn't keep a score of wrongs. Love doesn't bring up past failures."
"Forgiveness is the way of love. Forgiveness is not a feeling; its a commitment. forgiveness is an expression of love. "
Ponder this . . . .
