are men's BMI different then women's BMI?

Women naturally carry more body fat than men. The generic way to calculate BMI is to divide weight by height. But in the Navy, they had some table that involved a bunch of different measurements.... it's to complicated to try to remember...

yes they are different, men have more muscle mass so they do have a different bmi

No - both are calculated the same way.
