She is a work in progress. What falls off the tongue doesn't always come from the heart. Cursing becomes habitual after years of doing it. So now she's trying to clean up her act, and become a follower of the Lord. But old habits are hard to break. The mouth almost seems to have a mind of its own. Gve her credit for what she does and not what she says. None of us can be perfect, until we become perfect. And its sure not going to happen in this lifetime.

GOD realizes we are still human, but the holy spirit is what convicts a person to change.

I am assuming she is of the Christian religion, if so, then grab a Bible and find some verses about harmful speech. Use them to correct her. How can she argue that?

She may get some kind of guilt when she doesn't go...but we need to be compassionate toward people who have a hard time living their faith or knowing what they believe.
