I can't believe how many people ask questions about the "cost" of adopting a child! No one yet has asked a question about the cheapest way to give birth to a child.

Generally speaking, you're going to pay money to adopt a child, just like you have to pay money for your prenatal care, labor, and delivery. And just like you get financial help for giving birth (through health insurance), you can get financial help for adoption (through a really generous federal tax credit once you adopt the child).

Just quit thinking about the money, money, money, and first think about whether you want to be a parent.

I can relate to the price of adoption. The money actually goes more to the agency then to the birth of the child. My cousin went out of the country and had to live there for like 6 months and costed 100's of thousands of dollars and the child had problems.
I would like to see more open adoptions. it is a win win situation. When all parties agree that it is what is best for the baby. And the baby never has to wonder, because it has contact with biological mom. My oldest daughter is adopted, and she met her real father sorry biolgical father at 13. Has been told since she was 2 she was adopted. Never said anything bad about him. He burried himself when he showed up and she doesn' t like him. It is best when children don't have to wonder and can make there own decisions.
Would you be interested in foster care? There are many older children that could use a good family to look up too. It maybe a lot of work but in the end. What you have done is a much better thing. Show a child that has never know love what love is

My parents adopted a baby from my cousin and with the legal fees and lawyer fees It costed around 4,000, adn that was a family adoption. I really dont believe there is a cheap way to adopt because there are laywers, papers to be filed and in most cases the adopting parents pay for the medical expenses. So good luck.

Your looking for cheap adoption...WHY? Can you not afford it? If not then how can you afford a child?
Your best bet is to put out an add and offer to put up and pay for the birth of the child and mom until the baby is born but you will still need lawyers. Cutting corners in adoption just sounds bad no matter how you put it.

Not sure, but if you are in Modesto, I'm sure you can find some pregnant teen who would be willing to give up their baby. Google some adoption agencies.

Sometimes there are parents who like somebody will addopt ther child especially a single mother who is looking for the money. Means it sounds that they are selling there child. Normally if the mother give birth, the one who will addopt the baby will pay the expences and make sure that she of they will not come to you and ask additional. There are also parents who like to have many kids but they could not afford to raise them. But If you addopt a child you should not look which is expensive ot cheap. you look or you check what kind of parents or family they are, or should i say family tree".

I don't think that price is what you should be looking for when adopting a child.
