Mark 15:21: They pressed into service a passer-by, Simon, a Cyrenian, 8 who was coming in from the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to carry his cross.

John 19:25: Standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala.

John 19:31: Now since it was preparation day, in order that the bodies might not remain on the cross on the sabbath, for the sabbath day of that week was a solemn one, the Jews asked Pilate that their legs be broken and they be taken down.

With love in Christ.

Mat 27:31 And when they had mocked Him, they stripped off His cloak, and they put His garments on Him and led Him away to crucify Him.
Mat 27:32 And going out, they found a man, a Cyrenean, named Simon. They compelled this one, that he bear His cross.

Mat 27:40 and saying, You the one razing the temple and building it in three days, if You are the Son of God, come down from the cross

Mat 27:42 He saved others; He is not able to save Himself. If He is the King of Israel, let Him come down now from the cross, and we will believe Him.

Mar 15:32 The Christ, the king of Israel? Let Him now come down from the cross, that we may see and believe. And the ones crucified with Him defamed Him.

Shall I continue? Maybe you should actually read the Bible before commenting on it.

Crucify comes from obviously Jesus's days where people who commited crimes against society were crucified. It was meant to embarass the person in public and was used in many cases, not just Jesus.

But as for references within the Bible I'm sure it's in there somewhere. It is also probably in the Old Testament somewhere or you may have missed some things in the passages that you read or have heard of.

It doesn't, not in all translations, anyway. Criminals (which, sad to say is what Jesus was treated as) were nailed to what most Bible translations refer to as a "stake" or a "tree." A cross-beam was not necessary in order to put somone to death, and frankly not very likely in an arid part of the world where wood was hard to come by. The cross really comes from a pagan symbol for the letter "T" which represented the pagan god Tammuz.

Check it again! The word "crucified" takes it's root from the latin word "crucifare" which means to torture. The Gospels speak of Jesus being nailed to a Cross in one form or fashion. Start with Matthew 27:32-66 for instance

Mark 15
And when they crucified Him, they divided His garments, casting lots for them to determine what every man should take. Now it was the third hour, and they crucified Him. And the inscription of His accusation was written above:
THE KING OF THE JEWS.
With Him they also crucified two robbers, one on His right and the other on His left. So the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "And He was numbered with the transgressors."
And those who passed by blasphemed Him, wagging their heads and saying, "Aha! You who destroy the temple and build it in three days, save Yourself, and come down from the cross!" Likewise the chief priests also, mocking among themselves with the scribes, said, "He saved others; Himself He cannot save. Let the Christ, the King of Israel, descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe."

It says He was crucified. You can't get crucified without a cross; and the people told Him to come down off the cross.
I don't see how you could get much clearer.

Mark 15:32 Let this Christ, this King of Israel, come down now from the cross! When we see that, we will believe.” Those who were being crucified with Jesus also made fun of him.

It says towards the end of all the gospels (matthew, mark, luke, john) that he was crucified, we know from history that crucifixion takes place on a cross.
