Do they ever do drugs themselves ? Has anyone here ever heard of cops doing or selling drugs? Has anyone ever done drugs with a cop?

They aren't cops for long if they do drugs. They will screw something up or get caught on a random drug test (yes, cops have annual random drug tests)

Some do, yes. They need to be fired - NOW! I have know a few cops who both sold and did drugs. Both were fired and lost their pensions. Sorry - no second chances. If you want to play the role of peacekeeper, you have to follow the rules 100% of the time. If you want to be a drug addict, find another profession.

but yes, when I was in training at the Federal Law Enforcement Academy at GLYNCO GA, I walked into a room where 4 agents were relaxing, and they were passing a joint around.
I was never so worried in my life, I thought it might be a test, if I did not turn them in I would be fired, but then if I turned them in and was wrong, I could be in fear for worst from them or friends. I did not turn them in, I graduated and went my way.
but in the police force I have been went over the years, I never knew of any drug use except for perhaps some steroilds to buff them up and alot ( alot) of drinking.

I know of cops who have been busted for doing and selling what they confiscated. There are alot of good cops, but some real bad ones.

Police officers are just like the rest of us. They have flaws and are humans. Too many put them in a world of their own and give them far too much respect. Too often the power they take on is much more than they are allowed. Intimidation is a key to law enforcement. Remember they do everything that others do. Just they tend to take longer to get caught.

yes cops do drugs. I have heard of cops selling and using in NewJersey.

yes they do. lots of them do. I live in memphis,tn and over the last year they busted over 30 crooked cops who were involved in drug scams or on drugs themselves. I have also smoked pot with a cop before

Just like every other preofession, a certain percentage do drugs and sell drugs and whatever.

Some have, just as some are drunks. They must certainly be tested, particularly if there is any suspicion of abuse of any kind. Some probably have lost their jobs, and the lucky ones have gotten into programs before any harm was done.

Of course they do. They are human just like the rest of us, being a cop is only their job.
