She has 2 sisters and 1 brother, and the will is split between them. I have inherited a decent amount of money - so the two of us should be ok. But she is a devoted and caring daughter. Her siblings are all in their late 50's and unmarried. My wife and I have been happily married for 22 years and have one child who is in college.
Thanks for your insight.

This was obviously something not so nice to do but at the same time maybe he was trying to say he knows she doesn't need it because she's always been ahead of the others and more independant. Maybe her siblings were dependant and he didn't want them to destruct? Be optimistic.

Maybe her father thought she didn't need it as much as her siblings. I would still imagine that it would hurt her feelings though.
