I don't about when I was really little, but for my 7th grade science project I made this massive baseball bat thing.

I wanted to see which substance worked the best in bats (cork, rubber bands, styrofoam peanuts and 2 others) so I made a platform, a vertical holder and a baseboard and screwed the bat and baseboard together. Then I added 2 massive springs to the process. My science teacher said it was the best contraption he had ever seen in the science fair.

In 2nd grade I sneaked out to the garage and changed into my ballet outfit and wore it to school. Everyone laughed at me. They called my mom to bring me something else to wear, because a tutu was 'not appropriate attire'
