Just wondering what girls and guys think when a girl wears a thong bikini at the beach. I'm in Michigan, where they aren't as common as say...South Beach.

I saw a girl on the beach in a thong once. It must have been her first time wearing one because her cheeks were burnt Red. Looked really painful.
How come guys get to wear bathing suits and shorts etc which cover them and girls have to pay a fortune for swimsuits and get some elastic and hardly any material.
Anyhow, to answer the question. Thongs do not improve the way someone looks. They just show it. Some things are better left unseen. Most women do not look like air brushed supermodels on their tushes.
Most women look better with an attractive well fitting swimsuit. To look good in a swimsuit it must fit well and not need tugging and adjusting all of the time. It should fit like it is part of her in a flattering colour and style.
The only behind cheeks that should be seen on the beach are toddlers. (don't be thinking perverted) That is where the expression, "Smooth as a Babies Behind" comes from.
They have the innocence to run free for a moment. Like Adam and Eve before the sin. No shame, no pride, just free and innocent.

I'm from Michigan myself. Although it has been many years since I lived there, I doubt much has changed. If you live there year-round and are not just visiting, please do NOT do it unless you are in a group of people who are all doing it. I know this is horrible and backwards and not at all fair, but in small mid west towns, they take an incident like this and use it to ruin your reputation. I'm so sorry it is like this and that I can't tell you what you want to hear. It starts out with the thong and quickly becomes much, much more in what ends up being said. All I can say is, I'm glad I got out of there when I could and moved to California!

Not in Michigan! those should be saved for certain beaches in like Florida or cali but not here. Besides women make themselves out to be so cheap why do you think you have to play along with that? Women should have a little more decency then to go showin off all they got. Just my opinion. A good man will have more respect for you if you dont flaunt it to everyone in the world save yourself for the one good man you do find.

Actually, they're not as sexy a lot of times as one would think...not just any butt looks good in a thong, and there are a LOT of butts out there that wear 'em, that shouldn't...
Some people's skin should stay covered...

I think that thongs are underwear and shoes... not swimsuites... there are children that attend those beaches and its no where near appropriate... if you (not you personally)are so desperate for people to notice you that you have to have your butt hanging out everywhere ( i dont care how nice it is) then thats pretty sad. if you want that kind of attention attend a nude beach... where its expected... beaches are a place of fun, sun, water, and family... its a retreat a getaway... I just think that it is irresponisble, disrespectful, and selfish...

well if it looks nice on them it is ok I wouldnt mind at all. but dont try to wear a size 3 or 4 when you are a size 7 , 8 or even more

I hate thongs, but I know a lot of guys luv girls to wear them. My ex bf bought me one and wanted me to wear it for him. That's why he is my ex.
