and the illegal immigrants had no clue to where the Americans went -- where would the illegals go? Would they then be forced to deal with the issues in their countries, that make them run to America?

Are you saying that people illegally immigrate to the US because Americans live here and that if the Americans moved to another geographic location illegal aliens would follow? So in other words it is not the location that is important, but the ideals, freedoms and a way of life that makes it so attractive people sacrifice their lives and leave their families behind on a daily basis to seek this?

No they will keep the country running they way it is. They only come here because their government is soo messed up that they live poorly, but if they have a chance to start over they will do OK. Look at Argentina. Used to suck now they are a modern country almost like Europe in a matter of a few years.

we would go and make the place where we moved a functioning community and we'd clean it up and then all the illegals would see how nice it was and want to move back.
