One day of indescresion regarding diet isn't that bad. You may also benefit a little depending on how hard you've been dieting.
If you have to binge, then binge on health stuff. Try a real fruit smootie or something with natural sugars to satisfy your cravings.
You may be dieting too hard. It's okay to make your taste buds happy...just watch the portions. It doesn't take much to satisfy them.
For instance I'll eat candy, say Mike & Ikes...do I eat the whole box, no, I actually count the pieces that compile a serving. Kinda crazy I know, but it's better to eat 150 cals with 23 pieces then the whole box which would equal to 500 cals.

Here are some of the ways I finally stopped binge-ing:
When you feel an eating binge coming on, try to get out of the room where the food is and try to get your mind on another thing. Try playing a word or numbers game - like Soduko. [They have tons of free Sudoko games online and they are addictive!]. You could also try watching a movie that you KNOW will keep your mind involved [this can be hard] or calling up a friend and chatting or even going out.
You can also drink a LARGE cup of ice water. This will fill your stomach up and try and help your body remember that it is not hungry.
If you are very, very disciplined, when you feel a binge coming on, try to have just a tiny, tiny bit of whatever it is you really want. For instance, if you want to eat an entire package of Oreos eat JUST ONE. Denying the urges can sometimes make the desire to binge happen more frequently, but it can also be very hard to stop eating once you have started.
Also, if you only eat half the pack of oreos or half the bag of chips - or even just a few of them! - but now the open box is taunting you [I don't know if this happens to you, but it used to always happen to me!], THROW THE REST OF THEM OUT. It sounds wastful, and it is, but better the trash get it then you, right? Also, if you have chips or cookies or other binge foods in your house unopened, make sure they stay that way. If you feel like binging on them, just think - do I REALLY want to open that whole new container?
Above all else, do NOT get down on yourself when this happens. Making yourself feel depressed or otherwise low can actually make you want to eat more. Remind yourself that you are a very important person and you do not need this food. If you feel like you don't care, remind yourself how special and unique you are. It sounds corny, but it can really help.
I really hope at least some of this helped. Good luck!

You might just have been eating too little on the diet while on the diet then started craving all of what your body was missing out on. You do need some fat in your diet. If you've been eating healthy and just ate fatty foods for one night it's not going hurt your diet too much, just go back to the way you were eating before and don't buy any junk food to tempt yourself with.

Girl you just have to think about all the hard work you've been putting in. Maybe try this, eat healthy but allow yourself small amounts of sweet treats every 2 days or so. Maybe this way if you're not always depriving yourself of them you won't want to binge on them. And you're neither anorexic or bulemic, you're just binging b/c you probably haven't been eating any of that stuff.

You don't nessicarily have anything wrong with you. It's natural to want to eat things that you are bad for you when you are on a diet. You should try to get some support, from a friend, a support group, parents anything will help you stay on a diet. Also try writing down what you so that you can really see what you are taking in. If thinking about eating makes you sick, then you may want to consult a dotor.

neither. Just step away from the refridgirator and find help, go over to a friend's house or something. you are a binge eater at the current moment. don't throw up or anything. was your diet healthy? I would go to someone's house and ask for help.

are you throwing up? if not you are not bulimic. maybe you should get rid of all you're junk food and only have healthy things in you're house. that way if you get the munchies you will have a healthy snack. baby carrots and lite ranch are good, or fresh fruit. good luck

this happens when u drop weight a little too fast or slow for your body. Try to fight slowly, like leave a little ice cream there. IT's hard, i know, but it'll work like a charm.

this depends on your age, sometimes women when they diet lose vitamins and also there hormones go crazy so think about this and reevaluate yourself and take it from there.
