At such a young age your father was taken to prison, I find it a little odd that you would have such strong feelings for someone who has been absent a lot during your life. I don't think it's wrong to love your father, but have had a hard time with you missing someone so much, maybe it's the idea of having a father that you miss. Thus being said, I would seek counselling.

He is your dad - not matter what. He may have done something bad but he is still your father. Just think if the shoes were on the other feet. If you were in jail - would you want your father to forget about you?

Just continue to think of him as your father and write to him often. I know it would be hard to deal with, but you can still have a relationship with your father.

honestly it's kinda hard to believe that a child as young as two years old would have feelings for someone that they have not seen.

well the thing is if he is sorry and knows what he did was wrong and asked god for forgiveness you should go see him but if he is saying "she deserved it" or something like that then forget it.
