i seriously need help and ideas of how to stop procrastinating.
this is what happened last year at school: the teachers dump piles of assignments on us. i have to stay up to 1am every night just finishing them!! sometimes, i put off projects to the night before, so i can sleep earlier, and get my "required" 8hrs of z's.
also, i try to study for a test day by day, but it doesnt work, b/c i end up putting off studying all the hard sections on the day before a test!
all suggestions are welcome =] thank you!

rasha has a good point. being on yahoo and other internet sites is a sure time waster.
I went back to school as an adult a number of years back and with hard work completed my bachelors degree. I have been a lifelong procrastinator and sometimes I would procratinate with my schoolwork.
I found setting goals and rewarding myself when I met them was a good way to combat excess procrastinating.

I had a study hall that provided time for me to do my school work while in school. I rarely had much homework other than studying for tests. If you're doing extra -curricular activities you might have to drop some.

This too shall pass. Time is circular or helical or something. Anyway, what comes around goes around. So don't worry be happy. You are not here to live up to other people's expectations.

But seriously, you need to set fewer goals. If you must set goals, be careful not to specify when they will be reached. This way, it doesn't matter. It gets done when it gets done. When you get around to it.
