Matthew 24:24 warns of false prophets misleading "even the chosen ones". Healing was done by some of the preChristian Hebrew prophets as well as Jesus Christ and certain members of the early Christian congregation who were enabled by God's spirit to preform miraculous healing. If healing were possible for some today, why would God allow only a few to experience his love?!
Could it be some get caught up in the emotion of the activity at these "church" services believing they are healed when in all realty they were not? Read Matthew 10:7,8 - Notice a practice that is very different in our day......Jesus said what his disciples could do but healers today cannot... RAISE THE DEAD. Eventually we all die, any healing done by whatever means today is at best temporary. The bible tells us there will be a time when sickness and death will be done away. Rev. 21:3 & 4.

I have experienced healings at home, but usually not at a service.... with only two exceptions...i went to one service, got healed and did not loose the healing later.... i did not give any money outside of a small offering.... maybe $20.

There have been other times i went to a service and did not get healed......

.i know what you are implying.... it is possible that if people go with the wrong intent, or are persuaded theyare healed when they are not, that this is wrong..i would agree..

But you have to evaluate the ministry and the circumstances. God works and does heal people. It is fake people who countefeit this healing.....but this does not mean that God does not heal...people need to use wisdom in who they trust..... most of all, just trust God himself... that is where the healing comes from anyhow.

I haven't. I think what happens is people get caught up in the emotions, the flow of the singing and preaching and excitement of renewal. They're not really healed but the FEEL great, so they think they are at the moment. I believe God can, and does, miracle healings, but He doesn't just do them any old time we ask. It's in His time, if and when His will wants it. Feelings cloud our judgement sometimes.

No but I have had the opposite happen to me. A lady laid hands on me in church and said that my migraines will be gone. But it seemed to get worse so I left and went home in excruciating pain. When I woke up from my nap my migraine headache was gone and I have not had another one sense. That was last year. Used to get them ALL the time. So PRAISE THE GOOD LORD GOD!!!
