Well

Problems with OPEC
High Gas Prices
International War
Mass Paranoia
Lack of focus on Domestic Problems
Unwarranted Hatred of all Muslims
Over Hype of the Word Hero (everyone seems to be one these days)
Lack of Trust in the Government
Predictions of WW3

those are just a few.

After 9/11, I never really looked at the airplanes flying into and out of the local airport the same way again.

I think our lives are still the same besides the plane thing. The only thing is that some of the national landmarks and amusement parks in the USA are on a list of possible terrorist attacks. We are also in unnecessary war.

Having kids makes it really tough. Whenever a plane flies low overhead (we live the country so they're not commonplace), my kids get jumpy and ask questions. Same thing happens at football games in Philly which is right next to the airport. Sometimes you don't see a plane coming on approach and it freaks you out a bit.

That's one way.

its sad, but the only thing that has changed is the racism has gotten worse. remember when 9/11 first happened and everyone...strangers, friends, coworkers, seemed so much kinder? more like they understood what life was truly about.....and then it all faded and everyones back to how it was before.

We are now engaged in a illegal war that violates the constitution. Are lives have changed because we now have less freedom than before.
