Hi, I'm looking for some software(preferably free) that could help me recover old deleted pragrams, videos, pictures, text documents that I already cleared from the recycle bin.

Try one of these softwares but as you're installing something and use your computer, you won't be able to recover 100% of the files...
The best way is to disconnect your hard drive, install it as a slave drive in another computer then run one of those softwares.

Restoration is free and works very well. You might or might not be able to restore the files...it depends on how long ago the files were deleted, the sectors might be overwritten by now.
