I remembered when Barbie dolls were controversial for creating anegative image of women but what do you think about these bratz dolls? They have big heads and tiny bodys dressed scantily clad. The faces are painted with make up and all they wear are belly button clothes. Even the babies have tube tops on, make up, and 'bling;. I'm not a square but I don't think thats the type of image you should be giving your children. Does anyone else agree?

I'm not a square either, but I totally agree. They are trashy and showing our girls it's ok to dress like a slut when it's not. When my daughter was little my mom criticized me for letting her wear a tight halter. I said you must be kidding, she's 3 and my mom said if you let her dress like this at 3 and 6 , she'll expect it at 14 and 16. I remembered that, and no more skanky clothes for her.

My daughter is 8 and loves Bratz dolls. i visit admit, before each thing, i grow to be skeptical about her having a Bratz doll. I actually have sense had a replace of heart. My daughter and that i are of a mixed good. it isn't person-friendly to come across a doll that has diverse pores and skin tones and nevertheless comprise each and each of the best products. i'm getting my daughter all kinds of dolls yet i love getting her something that sounds like she does (complexion wise). Bratz has 4 major dolls, all with a diverse ethnic seem. i love the ability. Granted, Barbie does have her "associates" that are diverse colorings yet have you ever observed the garments they placed on and their upload-ons. Barbie is the in uncomplicated words one allowed to placed on red, the different ladies have another colour on yet by no skill red. in case your daughter is something like mine, she's lengthy handed by skill of a red in uncomplicated words level..... attempt to come across a black or hispanic Barbie wearing red! it is going to likely be damn close to no longer a possibility. Bratz is more effective about lady empowerment. loopy sounding, i recognize yet in case you watch the comic strip (definite there truly is one) the girls are mag editors and are all about status up for his or her associates. it is truly lovable, once you get over the actual undeniable actuality that you're gazing a Bratz comic strip... ;-) Its all about reviews and what you sense mushy with what your daughter is uncovered too. Bratz might want to be doing something proper or Mattel doesn't have come out w/ the My Scene Barbie's, that seem plenty like Bratz. I do agree w/ you and different Answerers that the garments must have more effective textile. yet my daughter takes all of them off besides, so I figured it it doesn't understand that a lot, besides!

They are pretty trashy. We call them "Slutz Dolls" they really seem to reflect the image that society has made for women, which is too bad.
