Are you responsible and good with kids? Try babysitting. Any local farms around that need help in the barns? What about working at the grocery store bagging groceries after school? You are too young to be a cashier because you are not old enough to sell alcohol or tobacco products. Because of child labor laws you can only work a certain amount of hours. What about working at a movie theater. I hope this helps.

You're a wonderful child, but the best thing you can do to help your mom is stay focused on your education. Your mom needs to find a job or another job if she is working.
Your first job should not be to pay your mom's bills, she's supposed to have that covered. Again, you are a wonderful child.
If your mom can't work and you MUST work, just don't let your work schedule interfere with your education.
You are a wonderful child.

First your 15 so you will need a job permit from your school. Some schools offer jobs to their students, to help pay tuition fees.
If you can't find a real job, babysitting, house cleaning, window washing, all lawn work. Check with elderly folks you maybe able to do chores and errands to assist them. I know my mother would pay for extra help, she lives to far for me to help weekly. Best of Luck to you. If you have the will you'll make the way!

I always took my sons to a lcoal grocery store or deli. My mom got me a job when I was 15 at a lcaol bakery, now I am a trained Chef. Usually a an adult taking you for a job can work in your favor.

Bless you for wanting to help your mom! you can get a work permit I think starting at age 14. There is always work in restaurants, washing dishes, being a bus-girl. those jobs very very often turn into the more lucrative waitress jobs or in the kitchen, prep cook. I worked in restaurants 20 yearrs. try a nice, fancy place, they feed you better!!!!

Check with your community with the Senior Citizens. I am positive that the seniors would appreciate if someone could come to their homes and do jobs that they are not able to do for themselves such as, window cleaning, mopping floors, cleaning out their closets or rearranging their furniture, dusting their knicknacks! Little things like that will help them and they appreciate it. I started cleaning my mothers windows one day and one of her friends came to visit her. By the end of the day, I had 15 requests and I didn't ask for money but they offered what they could. I felt good about helping and brought in a little money. They asked me to do other jobs for them but I had a fulltime job and I didn't have the time then. Word of mouth travels fast, just to remind you! Knowing you want to help your mom, I would hire you myself!!! Good Luck sweetie! Your mom is the lucky one! Bless you both

What skills can you offer? If you are 15 and in reasonable health, you can always do yard work: mowing, raking leaves, etc. It won't make as much money as "real" employment, but then most people will pay cash and your hours are flexible and don't have to impact your schoolwork.
Whatever you do, don't let your schoolwork suffer. If you do, you'll gain a few dollars now but have a lifetime of reduce earnings.

stay in school no matter what. Become a Doctor or a Lawyer and buy your mom a house and give her a credit card she does not have to pay on when you get your degree. That's how to help out mom.
