NO, not perfect peace and security but a degree of it until the day 911 took it away real fast and no one knows how to fix it right since that one day and time, and more so in the USA. Does any one really feel safe now, for real? Has any security system mankind has come up with shown up to be really secure? Can anyone really stop the bad guy from doing his bad deed if he so wills to find away to get it done?
And if our enemy has us believing he is not real he can fool us so fast we will not even know we have been fooled by that con man. If that con man is a liar and killer are any of us safe with that enemy around? If con men are in ALL human governments, and about ALL religion, as well as business, where can we go to be safe? And know also even a good religion will have imperfect people in it no matter how good they work at being good before God and men. But is history on the side of anyone religion if we have an open mind to see facts and not let uneducated feelings get in our way?

Hate and ignorance has been around for a very LONG time. It started a long time before 9-11.
Remember the Vietnam War. When the men came home to these United States, they were treated like dirt. Arms gone, legs cut off, blind and they are still paying for that war to this day. From all the memories of the insane things they were commanded to do. I had several family members in that war. Praise God they all come home alive. And what about WWII? I can remember a long time ago when we were in a very heated argument with Castro.
It states in the Bible, there will be wars upon wars and it started to happen a long time ago. We have just put everything behind us and they have been forgotten. But my brother, God is the only way.
No none of us are safe. Not only from terrorists but maybe your next door neighbor is a killer by night and a bank manager during the day. Only God knows for sure. And what about all the gangs that are here. They kill people for fun or to be initiated into the club. Or they have to rape a certain person. Or murder a child by a driveby shooting.
So you see, it is not only terrorist from other countries. We have a lot of hate and racism the lives right in our own neighborhood.
God bless this land and His People....Please do not lose the faith that you have in God, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. For when we lose God, it is not God that is lost. His hand is forever outstretched to ours. It is us that lets go.

You might be a off in your timeline. It didn't start on 9-11-01. Started years before. Terrorists have been attacking the US for years, started back in 1979 when Iranian students attacked the American Embassy in Tehran. Remember the attacks in the 80's on our Embassies in Beirut and Kuwait? How about the Achille Lauro or TWA Flight 840? World Trade Center was bombed once before 9-11 too. It's been around us a long time, we've just been ignorning it.

I think you forgot about all those people who died in Korea and Vietnam and the countless other pointless military excursions the US has gone on. You must not be asking this of the people who wept for their brutal passing or those who got to watch as their best friends were cut down by enemy bullets.

As a christian woman i will tell you...............take courage my friend! Insofar as it is a troubling world we live in, and how things seem to be getting worse all the time. Gods word does state that this will happen. This world does not belong to us, my friend. Evil will abound, sadly. But christians look to the future.......when this world will no longer be held captive to sin....... on this day we await.............this is the day Jesus comes back.

definite. it truly is already executed, we merely have not considered the end results of issues to go back. Even in the course of the highs and lows of existence, we are to be grateful to God for the best things he has executed. It beats complaining and debating any day, satisfied Thanksgiving!
